I once asked my Teacher, my father, why some people never seem to be happy, even though they appear to have all of life's advantages - their health, their looks, their job, their money, etc... His reply was simple but profound: "It is not possible for life to make a self-centered person happy, whatever temporary satisfactions may come along. But, he added, "life cannot but give you Joy if you live for the Joy of others."

Strengthen Your Relationships
When you enter into a relationship, the first relationship must be with your Self. You
must first learn to honor and cherish, strengthen and love your Self. You must first see
your Self as worthy before you can see your beloved as worthy. You must first see
your Self as blessed before you can see your beloved as blessed.
In truth, relationships are an OPPORTUNITY for growth, for full self expression,
for lifting your lives to their HIGHEST potential, for healing every false thought or
small idea you ever had about you, and for ultimate reunion with the DIVINE through
the communion of your two souls.
The purpose of your relationship is not to have another who might complete you;
but to have another with whom you might SHARE your completeness.

YOUR CHOICES DETERMINE YOUR REALITY
Until you are able to see that all of your experiences are a direct consequence of all your choices, you will continue to think that your experiences are just or unjust -- good or bad. You will feel that your life is spinning out of control and that you are the VICTIM of your circumstances. Once you begin to make the conscious connection between your CHOICES and your experiences, you will then begin to realize that you DON'T have to create the same painful experiences over and over again. When you choose DIFFERENTLY, you CREATE a different reality and this is what makes you a conscious creator over your life experience.
When you assume RESPONSIBILITY for your health and well-being, through your conscious choices, your life becomes MEANINGFUL. Responsible choice is the healing dynamic that removes your FEARS from having power over you. Responsibility is not a burden you must carry, but a doorway to your personal freedom and your BEST life.
An Exercise In Responsible Choice:
1. Before you act or speak, become aware of your intentions (motives).
2. Consider all the possible consequences of each of your intentions.
3. CHOOSE the intention that will create the consequences you desire.
4. Observe how your experiences CHANGE.

ACCEPTING YOUR BODY
Your body is the ground and metaphor of your life,
the expression of your existence.
It is your Bible, your encyclopedia, your life story.
Everything that happens to you
is stored and reflected in your body.
In the marriage of flesh and spirit
divorce is impossible
-Gabrielle Roth-
Many of us have a love hate relationship with our bodies. We indulge them, deprive them, stuff them or starve them, overwork and underwork them, spoil them, punish them, enjoy them, suffer them, and, at times, feel betrayed by them. Accepting your body begins by making peace with and coming to love and admire the body you've been given. The human journey begins and ends with the body and is the only thing you are guaranteed to keep for an entire lifetime. So as the saying goes; "If you don't take care of your body, where will you live?"
